The management of the health crisis launched a series of attacks against the political power that the justice would have to examine. Dozens of complaints against members of the government have been filed with the Court of Justice of the Republic to date. Emanating from individuals, doctors or prisoners, they target in particular the Prime Minister, Édouard Philippe, the former Minister of Health Agnès Buzyn but also his successor, Olivier Véran. While other ministers are also implicated, the complainants accuse them, as the case may be, of "endangering the life of others, manslaughter, failure to assist a person in danger" or " failing to take timely action to combat the epidemic.
