The Hong Kong University Student Union will hold a June 4th mourning event in the afternoon, washing the pillar of national martyrdom according to tradition, and paying mourning for the victims. The Student Union will also repaint the 20 characters of "The Immortal Vow of the Cold-Blooded Butchery Martyrs and Heroes of the Cold-blooded Slaughter City" at Taikoo Bridge.
