(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, JUNE 7 - The majority of the city council of Minneapolis, the city in which the African American George Floyd died at the hands of the agents, voted to start a process that will have to lead to a cut in the funds for the forces of the order and the dismantling of the police department: "The goal is to reform it and to rebuild together our community a new public safety model that really guarantees everyone's safety".
Joe Biden will be in Houston, Texas in the next few hours to meet Floyd's family privately. This was confirmed by the entourage of the former US vice president. The Democratic candidate in the White House will also record a video message that will be transmitted tomorrow during the funeral ceremony in Floyd's hometown. The former vice president will not attend the ceremony.
