(ANSA) - VERONA, JUNE 12 - The 2020 Summer Festival scheduled at the Arena in Verona is called "In the heart of music" after the Opera Foundation was forced, due to the health emergency, to postpone the 2021 Arena di VeronaOpera Festival.
The calendar, with 11 evenings without replicas, will open on July 25 with a great tribute to the Italian artists, with 31 singers involved. "I consider it an act due to the defense of our heritage which, like any performative art, is made before everything of people, of their dedication, of continuous study for the highest quality and frankly, given that facing the stage is not an easy thing, even of their psychological status ", observed the superintendent Cecilia Gasdia.
"At the moment we speak - added Gasdia - the admitted official capacity is still a thousand spectators, but after many efforts and the battle of many the new Dpcm will allow to increase to three thousand and we are very confident about this". (HANDLE).
