(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, JUNE 12 - The progressive recovery of international air connections with Turkey continues. After starting the first flights with several European countries this week, Turkish Airlines has announced that from next week it will also resume its connections with the United States and the Far East. The first flights will depart between one week to Chicago and Washington, followed by others to Miami and Los Angeles. Also next Friday, after more than 4 months, the Ankara flag carrier will return to fly to Shanghai, and from the following week also to Hong Kong and Seoul. Turkey has reopened its borders, but there are still several restrictions for its travelers heading abroad.
