The Egyptian Ministry of Health recorded 97 deaths and 1,691 new infections with the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry’s website, Khaled Mujahid, quoted the ministry’s spokesman as saying in a statement: “1,691 new infections and 97 deaths from Corona virus were recorded during the last day, bringing the total number recorded in Egypt to date to 46,289, including 12,329 cases that have been fully recovered and 1672 deaths. ”
He pointed out that the governorates that recorded the highest rates of infection with the virus are Cairo, Giza and Qalubia, while the governorates of the Red Sea, Matrouh and South Sinai recorded the lowest rates of HIV infections.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health recorded 91 deaths and 1618 cases of the emerging coronavirus.
