Tübingen / Berlin - The biotech company CureVac, based in Tübingen, has been researching a vaccine against the corona virus since January. According to media reports, Donald Trump also intends to buy the company. The Federal Republic is now supporting CureVac with an investment. However, the Baden-Württemberg company remains independent.

As BW24 * reports, the Federal Republic of Germany is supporting the biotech company CureVac with an investment of 300 million euros. This was announced on Monday by Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier (CDU) and Dietmar Hobb, co-founder of the software group SAP.

The corona virus spread very quickly in Baden-Württemberg. The first case became known on February 25 in the district of Göppingen (BW24 * reported).
