Lost ball gives an adrenaline rush to French cinema

CRITIQUE - For his first feature film, Guillaume Pierret is making an ambitious action film directed by Alban Lenoir, the rising star of action cinema.

A little mechanical genius, Lino is arrested by the police after a robbery with a somewhat failed ram car. A chance to redeem himself presents itself to him when a special brigade hires him on probation in order to make cars fast enough to neutralize go-fast. Nine months later, when his skills and integrity are no longer to be proven, he is accused of a crime he did not commit. To find himself innocent, he will have to recover the only existing evidence, a bullet stuck in a missing car.

For his first film, produced for Netflix, Guillaume Pierret set the bar very high. The young director was inspired by his two short films, Surrender and Matriarche , to create a nervous and successful work.
