Al-Ghariya town council in Al-Suwayda has announced the completion of a project to illuminate the streets and entrances of the town, funded by the Project Program Committee of the Syrian Secretariat for Development.
In a statement to the SANA reporter, the head of the town council, Yasser Canvas, indicated that the project included lighting the main street, the town's entrances, important points in it, and the secondary roads with devices that achieve a significant saving in energy compared to regular lighting devices.
Canvas pointed out that this project constitutes an addition to the project program committee in the town granting financial advances for service purposes to small and educational projects for students.
The town of Al-Ghariyah is located in the southernmost countryside of Suwayda and 38 kilometers from the center of the governorate.
