Today, the Egyptian health authorities announced that 87 deaths and 1475 new cases of Corona virus have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, said that the total number of deaths since the start of the outbreak of the virus rose to 2193, and the number of infections rose to 55,233, while the total number of people recovered reached 14,736 to date.
Cairo, Giza and Qalubia recorded the highest rates of infection in Corona, while the governorates of the Red Sea, Matruh and South Sinai recorded the lowest rates of infection with the virus.
