Man in Tsuen Wan suspected of "hurdling" across six lanes and was stunned by taxi

There was a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan. At 1 a.m. on Monday (22nd), a man was struck by a taxi while crossing the road near the Nanfeng Center on the Tsuen Wan section of Castle Peak Road. His head fell on the windshield and fell to the ground. Sustaining severe coma, he was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for rescue. It was reported on the scene that the male surnamed Mai (40 years old) suspected to abandon the nearby footbridge and attempted to cross the six traffic lanes to cross the road. He climbed the iron fence halfway, but was struck by a taxi after crossing the hurdle. Left behind the blood stains of the big beach. Afterwards, a male driver surnamed Huang (58) was arrested on suspicion of "dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to others" and is being detained for investigation. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
