(CNN Spanish) - A work stoppage of the workers of the general cemetery of Cochabamba in Bolivia kept the relatives of several deceased with the coffins at the doors of the cemetery while the labor conflict was resolved, reported Red Uno, affiliate of CNN.
The cemetery administrator, Benito Gonzáles, told CNN that the employees demanded that medical studies be carried out to detect possible cases of the new coronavirus among the workers, but he stressed that the situation had already been resolved.
"The attention was resumed today (this Monday) and tomorrow we will attend in a normal way," explained Gonzáles.

The death of a cemetery employee, whose cause is being investigated, according to Gonzáles, raised alarm among the workers, who wanted to be examined to detect possible cases of covid-19.
Gonzáles said that the person died of a heart attack. "The deceased official was no longer working for 15 days, he died of cardiac arrest, according to the doctor," he said.
The cemetery administrator said the plant staff protested that they asked a crew of doctors to do a thorough check-up on all staff. Several tests have already been carried out on employees and they have disinfected the site, he added.
