(ANSA) - LONDON, JUL 16 - The DIY statue dedicated to the British demonstrator Jen Reid of the Black LivesMatters (Blm) movement, raised with a blitz the other night, was removed at dawn to avoid any tension in Bristol instead of that of the 17th century slave trader Edward Colstondivelta during the anti-racist demonstrations in June.
The intervention was announced yesterday evening the mayor of the British city, Mervin Rees, Labor and black, opposed to put the Colston monument in its place, but also improvised and "unauthorized" initiatives outside of any law or rule.
