An unusual confrontation took place in the Knesset's Finance Committee, which discussed a plan for economic aid in the wake of the Corona virus. • MK Miki Zohar attacked Isra Katz, saying: "His attitude is violent and detached, this is what leads us to a deep public failure."

During a discussion in the Knesset's Finance Committee held today (Monday), the coalition's chairman, MK Miki Zohar from the Likud, attacked the party's finance minister, Minister Israel Katz, and then, in the face of a confrontation between the two, the finance committee went to a halt.

Miki Zohar v. Israel Katz: "He is a finance minister who is detached from the people" //

MK Miki Zohar referred during the discussion to the compensation ceiling that the law anchors for business, and demanded an increase. Due to this, the Minister of Finance told MK Zohar: "One of the people in the field told me, 'What is your urge, that you have a cousin with a hall?"

MK Miki Zohar replied to Minister Katz: "I am sorry that as part of the Likud movement we have a finance minister cut off from the people, I regret it. And with all due respect to the finance minister's desire to show forcefulness, it does not work for me. I personally must admit that I had great hope from the appointment of Israel Katz, I have great disappointment from his conduct. "It could very well be that the prime minister should be called upon to examine the continued tenure of the finance minister. The continuation of our tenure becomes a danger to the continued tenure of the Likud."
