A 12-year-old boy fell into a well about thirty meters deep in the Coronini Cromberg park in Gorizia. According to preliminary information, the boy was with the summer center. The intervention of the firefighters, with Saf staff, is underway for the recovery of the twelve year old. On the spot there are also carabinieri and 118 personnel. According to some sources of the municipality of Gorizia, the child would not respond to the requests of the rescuers.
The park where the tragedy occurred is located in the center of Gorizia, along Viale XX Settembre.
The well into which the child has fallen would not be a natural cavity, but an artificial construction near a building. It is a typical well with a circular wall about 50 centimeters high.
