DiaSorin has decided to suspend all new clinical trial activities with Italian public bodies until the necessary conditions of legal certainty are restored.
The stop is linked to the investigation by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Pavia, with which procedural anomalies are hypothesized with regard to the validation agreement for the anti SARS-CoV-2 tests stipulated with the Policlinico San Matteo of Pavia. Diasorin explains it in a note reiterating the correctness and legitimacy of its work and recalling that the Council of State has recently expressed itself on the matter with confirmation, as a precautionary measure, of the validity of the agreement itself.
