(ANSA) - NEW YORK, JULY 27 - "Tenet", the long-awaited blockbusterdistopico by Christopher Nolan whose theatrical debut, scheduled for mid-July, had been postponed several times due to Covid -19, will be released earlier in Italy than in USA.
Warner has announced that the film will be released on August 26 in addition to seventy countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Russia Spain and the United Kingdom.
The film will then open for Labor Day weekend, in early September, in select cities across the United States.
Originally "Tenet" was due out on July 17th all over the world. The debut had then been moved to July 3, then to August 12 and finally to a date to be allocated.
In "Tenet" John David Washington plays Robert Pattinson in the role of spies in charge of preventing the Third World War using the inversion of time. The cast also includes ElizabethDebicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh and Michael Caine.
Warner has not confirmed the hypothesis circulated in the days of a streaming program on HBO for the market with stars and stripes. Nolan has been unyielding on this point: Tenet, up to now, has been "the one most thought for the big screen experience" among his films. (HANDLE).
