After almost a year without a test match, the old men team of SC Wall played against the first team. To everyone's surprise, the “old ones” won.

Wall - The footballers of SC Wall have not played a competitive game for almost a year, first came the winter break, then the corona break. And a test game in preparation for the restart has not yet been booked, but is being planned. In order to slowly boot up into competition mode, the Waller kickers (photo on the right) now held an internal test match - against the old men (photo on the left). So it was quite fitting that both teams made their debut: The active players after the long break, the newly founded AH even played their first ever outdoor game. And “De Oiden Woia Herrn”, as they call themselves, made life really difficult for the youngsters on the football field.

The "old" catfish beat the "young"

Dominik Schumacher, the club's absolute top scorer with eleven goals this season, brought coach Bobby Bernöcker's A-classics into the lead, but the “Oiden Herren” trained by Hannes Estner and Stefan Rinshofer turned the game around before the break. Stefan Münch, Florian Zehrer and Markus Seitz each met after preliminary work by Florian Berwanger. Of course, the active men's team didn't want to let that go and they really stepped on the gas again in the second half. Schumacher scored again to make it 2: 3, but the “young” could no longer turn the game against the “old”. On the one hand, because new signing Denis Katic hit the crossbar with a long shot, and on the other, because referee Roland Kulas, as previously agreed, whistled the game after 75 minutes. Luck for the "Oiden Lord", because the strength was already waning. But unusual times require special measures. cs
