Mose, with tide above +130 cm, will trigger lifting

(ANSA) - VENICE, 09 SEPT - The safety threshold above which the raising of the Mose barriers to protect Venice from high water has been set at an altitude of +130 cm, compared to Punta della Salute. A measure capable of protecting 55% of the municipal area from flooding. The extraordinary Commissioner for Mose, Elisabetta Spitz, writes in the quarterly report on the progress of the work, which ANSA has viewed.
