(ANSA) - TURIN, 09 SEPT - In Piedmont, families will have the obligation to mark in the diary, or on special forms, the temperature of the children who go to school.

The president of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio, anticipates this to ANSA, who will sign the ordinance.

"A child at school with a fever is a huge risk, we would have preferred it to be measured in the school but we were told that it cannot be - he explains -; for which we adopt an ordinance that obliges families to self-certify the temperature in the diary or with If this does not happen, the school will have to measure it ".

The responsibility given to families to measure the temperature was established by the Government.

Piedmont, with the ordinance that Governor Cirio will sign today, introduces the obligation to certify it.

The document, as a first step, will however "recommend" schools to measure the temperature before entering.

If the school is not in a position to do so, then families are obliged to self-certify the detection of the temperature.

If the student shows up without self-certification, the school will be obliged to measure the fever.
