" for Covid-19 during a second screening carried out on Saturday, immediately ending his isolation, seven days after contact with the director of the Tour de France himself infected.

In accordance with health protocol, seven days after contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, the Prime Minister was tested today.
The test result is negative.
The Prime Minister will therefore no longer be in isolation or teleworking from this afternoon,

The head of government was isolated after the contact and had to change his agenda to stay in Matignon, the Council of Ministers on Wednesday having notably taken place entirely by videoconference.
A first test carried out on Tuesday had already been negative, but the protocol provided that Castex undergoes a new test seven days after contact and that he remains isolated until then.

Jean Castex took his place exactly one week ago in the Tour management car, alongside Christian Prudhomme, to follow the 8th stage.
