(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, 13 SEPT - The supermodel Bar Refaeli will have to lend nine months of social work starting from 21 September.
The district court of Tel Aviv established this in a definitive form today, thus validating an agreement of attitude reached a few weeks by Bar Refaeli and his mother Tzipi after admitting to having committed tax transgressions.
In two weeks, Tzipi Refaeli will in turn begin a detention period of 16 months.
The mother and daughter will also have to pay a total fine of five million shekels to the tax authorities, approximately one million and 250 thousand euros.
According to the economic newspaper 'the Marker' the Refaeli were also sentenced to pay back taxes of 12.5 million shekels, plus interest. "This is a reasonable pain," said Judge Dana Amir. In the previous hearing, Bar Refaeli noted that the whole affair dates back to a period when he was "just over 20 years old".
