Coronavirus, a thousand infections in 24 hours but 27 thousand fewer tampons

Fourteen dead, doubles the increase in victims. Hospitalizations and intensive care continue to increase (ANSA)

There are 1,008 coronavirus infections recorded in the last 24 hours in Italy, over 450 less than yesterday but with almost 27 thousand fewer swabs: 72,143 were performed on Saturday, 45,309 yesterday.

Instead, the increase in victims doubles in one day: from 7 on Sunday to 14 today, for a total of 35,624 since the beginning of the emergency.

Among the Regions, Basilicata is the only one not to report new cases.  

Patients admitted to intensive care units and other hospital wards for Covid 19 continue to rise. From the data of the Ministry of Health it emerges that there are 39,187 currently positive, 678 more than yesterday: of these, 2,122 are hospitalized in ordinary wards (+80), 197 in intensive care (+10) and 36,868 in home isolation (+588). On the other hand, the increase in those discharged and healed in the last 24 hours is 316, for a total of 213,950.
