INTERVIEW - The president of the Radical Movement wants a fundamental debate ahead of any possible political alliance.

- The Prime Minister wants a "common house" of the partners of the majority.

Do you take that outstretched hand?

Laurent HÉNART.

The choice made by the Radical Movement at its last congresses since 2017 is political independence.

We will have a new congress on November 7th.

We will see if this line of independence is confirmed, accentuated, or if it is necessary to participate in a larger alliance.

For my part, I continue to wear the same line.

I want independent radicals, and partners of the majority when issues bring us together.

On Europe and the recovery, we have a shared vision.

We also expressed our differences on local authorities, social policy and secularism.
