The governor of Chihuahua, Javier Corral, said that the channels of dialogue with the federal government are closed and that he does not rule out reprisals towards the state by the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The conflict between Corral and the president escalated after a conflict over water rights involving a Chihuahuan dam and in which one person died.
