On September 17, a group of intellectuals in Mexico published an open letter to the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, asking him to stop what they describe as attacks on freedom of expression.
Activist Javier Sicilia, who signed the document, wrote another letter to the president in which he assures that the government has set aside the agenda for the construction of peace and justice.
