(ANSA) - LIVORNO, 25 SEPT - A tree fell due to bad weather in the courtyard of a high school in Livorno. Strong gusts of wind broke the trunk of a tree in the garden of the Niccolini-Palli high school. The incident took place around 14.45 and, as confirmed by the Province in a note, there was no damage to people or things. The school was closed due to the ordinance issued by the mayor of Livorno for the weather alert. The Province immediately sent a company in charge of the removal.

The plant, a privet, "was perfectly healthy", says the same note, but the violence of the wind cut the stem in two, causing the foliage to fall on the sidewalk, beyond the railing of the fence. (HANDLE).
