The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 119 new infections and 16 deaths from the new Corona virus in Egypt during the past twenty-four hours.
"The total number that has been registered in Egypt with the virus to date has reached 103,198 cases and 5,930 deaths," said Ministry of Health spokesman Khaled Mujahid in a statement.
Mujahid indicated that 400 people have been discharged from hospitals after they recovered, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 96,494 cases so far.
