The German government has identified one of its main domestic enemies.
And this one is the far right.
With varying degrees of happiness and determination, the country's authorities have been trying for months to limit the influence of this hybrid political movement which, according to them, threatens democracy.

Tuesday, October 6, the Minister of the Interior, Horst Seehofer, took center stage in an attempt to defuse a controversy involving his own services.
"We are not hiding anything and we are pursuing these crimes in a rigorous manner"
, defended the man with the grip of the government, while denying the existence of a
"structural"
presence
of the extreme right within German police.
Horst Seehofer's exit comes at a time when attacks in the name of this ideology are increasing in the country.
On Sunday, a Jewish student in Hamburg was attacked with a shovel outside a synagogue in the city.
