Two drivers in Kwun Tong were arguing over trivial matters. One of them was beaten to a semi-coma and seriously injured. The incident occurred at 7 o'clock in the morning today (8th) when a tourist bus dropped off passengers at Yu Man Square Road in Kwun Tong. The 41-year-old driver surnamed Guo dropped off at the station beside the left car to assist passengers with luggage collection. The bus approached and almost ran into the tourist bus driver. As a result, the two drivers quarreled and used force. The 56-year-old minibus driver surnamed Lin was emotional and took out a 20 cm long insulated pot and attacked the coach driver's head. He was beaten to a semi-consciousness and lay down on the road between the coach and the minibus. Ambulancemen arrived at the scene and took the injured to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He was admitted to the ward of the Intensive Care Department because of his serious injuries. The assailant reported neck pain and was taken to United Hospital. The police arrested the minibus driver on the spot, and the case was classified as "assault causing bodily injury".
