At 7 o'clock in the morning today (8th), a coach and a minibus were waiting at a set of traffic lights off the parking lot of Yu Man Square, Kwun Tong. The two drivers suspected a dispute. Someone took out a hard object and attacked the coach driver. He was beaten to a semi-consciousness, lying down on the road.
Ambulancemen arrived at the scene and rushed the wounded to United Hospital. He was later transferred to the ward of the Intensive Care Department of Queen Elizabeth Hospital due to serious injuries. The assailant reported neck pain and was sent to United Hospital.
The police arrested a man on the spot, and the case was classified as "assault causing bodily injury."
