Serie A: Napoli-Atalanta in the field
After more than three months Josip Ilicic officially returns to the squad of Atalanta. This was announced by the coach Gian Piero Gasperini on the eve of the away match in Naples. The Slovenian international, on leave for a long time during the summer for personal problems also related to the lockdown for the Coronavirus pandemic, is missing from the Atalanta-Brescia list of last July 14, in which he had not even taken part in the reserves. With Juventus in Turin on 11 July, his last appearance in official matches. Ilicic, initially back in Slovenia, did not even appear in the list of players at the pre-season meeting in Zingonia on 31 August to join, although working separately, about a week later. Since 27 September he is regularly in a group and on Tuesday morning he passed the family test with the Primavera.
