The break that the tennis industry had to take due to the Corona crisis is already behind us, but even though we have already managed to enjoy two Grand Slam tournaments (the US Open, Roland Garros), the one who was missing was the injured Roger Federer.

The 39-year-old Swiss man suffered a knee injury and underwent surgery, but now he reassures his fans and the entire tennis world and promises: "I'm on the right track, but I do not intend to put pressure on myself."

The winner of 20 Grand Slam tournaments has confirmed that he is close to returning to action in one of them, in January 2021: "I intend to return only to feel 100% ready, and it looks like it will happen at the Australian Open."

On the injury itself, the world number 4 said: "The knee does not cause me problems in training. I train no more than two hours with the bat, but these are not my only training, and at the moment I do not suffer from pain."
