(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, NOV 2 - Little Elif Perincek, a 3-year-old Turkish girl trapped in the debris of the building where she lived in Smyrna, collapsed following the earthquake last Friday in the Aegean Sea, was extracted alive from the slaughterhouses after almost three days.

"When I reached out my hand, she took it and never left it until I took it to the rescue tent," MuammerCelik, the firefighter who rescued the baby at 65 hours, told local TV stations. earthquake.

The images of the relief efforts are making the rounds of the Turkish media.

Meanwhile, rescuers continue to dig uninterruptedly in the rubble, from which rumors still emerge that give hope in the presence of further survivors.
