(ANSA) - ROME, 02 NOV - Thursday 5 November the funeral of Gigi Proietti will be celebrated in Rome.
Mayor Virginia Ragg will proclaim city mourning for that day.
Proietti's religious funeral should be held at the Chiesa degliArtisti in Piazza del Popolo.
Probably the funeral will be held in a private form also to avoid any gathering in compliance with the anti covid legislation.
The mayor Raggi, according to what we learn, is in contact with the family of Gigi Proietti to share the homage of Rome together: among the hypotheses a funeral procession in a car that will start from the Campidoglio and will touch different symbolic places of Proietti's life, such as via Giulia - where the actor was born -, the Globe Theater - the Shakespearean theater of which he was the artistic director. And right there could be the memory of some of his friends - and then arrive at the church where the funeral will take place.
