(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 05 - The Ministry of Economic Development and Mediocredito Centrale (MCC) announce that the amount of 100 billion euros of liquidity guaranteed by the State through the Guarantee Fund has been reached, in favor of businesses, artisans, self-employed and professionals.

We read it in a note.

The requests received by the banks from 17 March to 5 November 2020, following the reform of the Guarantee Fund introduced with the 'Cura Italia' and Liquidity 'decrees to deal with the Covid emergency, totaled over 1.2 million.

"Today the milestone of 100 billion of liquidity guaranteed by the state has been reached thanks to the reform of the Guarantee Fund for SMEs, managed by the Minister of Economic Development. Despite being much criticized, the liquidity decree is giving great support to the companies affected by the pandemic and, for the part relating to small and medium-sized enterprises has reached the targets we had set ourselves well before expectations. The reform of the Fund has made it a completely new, enhanced tool; we have fully exploited the possibilities offered by the new temporary framework ", says the Minister Stefano Patuanelli, adding that "this maneuvering space will still be used, at least until June 2021".
