Popular video app TikTok has asked a US federal court to stop a decree by President Donald Trump that requires it to part ways with its Chinese parent company ByteDance before Thursday.
The event comes two months after President Trump accepted an agreement for TikTok to establish itself in the United States, with Oracle and Walmart as partial owners.
