California has recorded more than a million cases of Coronavirus, becoming the second US state to breach this barrier after Texas.

On the 8th of this month, Texas became the first US state to exceed one million cases of coronavirus, according to Reuters, as the country is fighting a third wave of infections and has recorded more than 100,000 cases 3 times in less than a week.

Texas, which accounts for more than 10 percent of all infections in the United States, reported the largest number of new cases in the country last week, followed by Illinois, which has half the number of infected people.
