A 29-year-old had a stun gun close at hand in the car on the A8 near Irschenberg.
Apparently he knew that this was forbidden.
Irschenberg - A 29-year-old from Ingolstadt apparently knew that stun guns are not allowed in Germany - and yet he had one in his BMW when he drove on the A8 near Irschenberg.
There, veil investigators from the Raubling border police checked him on his way back from Turkey last Friday, the police report.
When the investigators asked whether he had prohibited items with him, the 29-year-old pointed directly at the stun gun in the side compartment of the driver's door.
"The police confirmed that the man was right that it was a prohibited item and made the device safe," said the press report.
