US President Donald Trump fired the head of the agency responsible for ensuring the security of the elections, according to a tweet from the president.
Chris Krebs, director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, had disputed the president's conspiracy theories of election rigging and had been verifying Trump-fueled misinformation.
