According to the regional media, no less than three helicopters were mobilized by the Oyonnax firefighters to evacuate the victims to the Lyon hospital center.

According to the first elements of the investigation, carried out by the police from the Oyonnax police station, several aerosol canisters were found in the partially charred vehicle.
