(ANSA) - BOLZANO, 02 DEC - Henri Chenot, the famous wizard of VIP diets, died in Lugano at the age of 77 after a long illness. In his Hotel Palace in Merano, the French of Catalan origin hosted many VIPs from the world of entertainment and sport, but also from politics, such as Giulio Andreotti, Luciano Pavarotti, Naomi Campbell, Flavio Briatore, Zine'dine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Lucio Dalla also entrusted himself to the care of Chenot, like Diego Maradona, who in 2009 during a stay of treatment in Merano had to hand over his beloved earrings to the Guardia di Finanza due to a series of troubles with the Italian tax authorities.

Recently Chenot had bid farewell to Merano for the transfer to Switzerland.
