Mayra Lineth Pop is a young Guatemalan woman who refused a forced marriage when she was 14 years old, a practice that was common in rural areas of Guatemala, such as the China Cadenas village in the department of Izabal, in the north of the country, from where she it is original.
Today the young woman calls on girls who face the same thing, to be brave and ask for help.
