No phone, no internet, no television.

Parts of Hausham have not had a cable network for five days.

Now Vodafone explains why.

Hausham

- With some only the television remains black, with others the Internet and telephone are also dead. Parts of Hausham have been cut off from the outside world for a good four days - at least in technical terms.

"It's been a long time, especially because of Corona," reported Marlies Fellermeier-Liebl (FWG) in the local council.

In the current situation it is bad for older people if they cannot communicate with the outside world.

Fellermeier-Liebl reported that she lived in Poilstrasse herself, and several residential buildings were affected.

The network also failed in the spring road.

At the request of our newspaper, the responsible cable network operator Vodafone comments on the problems.

Since Monday, November 30th, there has been an "interruption at an amplifier point" from which around 100 households in Hausham are supplied.

“Our technology specialists are working flat out to eliminate the malfunction,” says press spokeswoman Heike Koring.

“We are aware that our customers have clear communication needs.

We are therefore doing everything humanly possible to make reception available again as quickly as possible. "

When the failure in the cable fiber network for TV, broadband Internet and landline telephony will be resolved, it is not yet possible to say.
