The “Working Group Appreciating Together” at the Hohenburger Realschule has again started a Christmas campaign to bring joy to people in Lenggries who are not doing so well.

The hard-working group participants collected lots of goodies, toys, books, hats, blankets, cosmetics and vouchers from the generous pupils of the two Hohenburg schools, report the group leaders Maika Kottmair and Brigitte Kaps.
Some of the gifts were packed in parcels and decorated with self-written Christmas cards and a “Star of Confidence”.
Birgitta Opitz from the association “Nur a bisserl Zeit” received the gifts.
She delivers the 32 parcels to the residents of the "House of Seniors".
In addition, the young people prepared gift bags for the staff.
The employees have "surpassed themselves in the last few months in order to help the residents as well as possible in this difficult Corona period," said the working group.
In the coming weeks the remaining gifts will be delivered to the board.
The employees pass these on to people who cannot afford anything special for Christmas.
