Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, their land and property, and hold those responsible accountable.
In a statement today on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry stressed the centrality of the rights of the Palestinian people in the universal principles of human rights, foremost of which is their right to self-determination, the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes in implementation of Resolution 194.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry indicated that the solution to the Palestinian issue would be an end to the prolonged Israeli occupation and an end to the oppression that the Palestinian people have been subjected to for more than 73 years.
