The Ministry of Agriculture of Mexico reported that since the pandemic began, the authorities attended 25 notifications for suspected covid-19 in animals: 16 were in dogs, seven in cats, one in a zoo tiger and another in a guinea pig.

So far, only 4 dogs have tested positive for coronavirus, the mode of transmission is unknown
