The organic breeder Fabien Le Coidic is fighting to settle in Adainville in the Yvelines. His building permit was deemed legal, but his neighbors, including editor Odile Jacob, persevere.

It is a dispute that sowed indignation among farmers:

"The bobos want organic on their plates but not near their homes!"

, took offense to the Ile-de-France chamber of agriculture.

Friday, the administrative court of Versailles ruled: the building permit filed by an organic breeder of Breton cows was deemed legal.

Despite the request for interim relief from three neighbors, including the editor Odile Jacob, who invoked

"noise, olfactory, visual and health nuisance"

.

But will Fabien Le Coidic be able to start his work?

"His fear is to have, in front, a judicial guerrilla war"

, indicates his counsel, Me Timothée Dufour.

The editor's lawyer, Me Corinne Lepage, already confirms the appeal on the merits.
