The administration of the industrial city of Umm Al-Zaitoun in Al-Suwayda contracted to implement service projects to complete the infrastructure works for the second phase, at a cost of 331 million pounds.
The director of the craft and industrial zones in Sweida, Eng. Alaa Abu Ammar, announced in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the contracts include the implementation of a medium-voltage electric line for the second phase at a cost of 263 million pounds and the settlement of roads in the commercial sector at a cost of 35 million pounds in addition to the work of settling part of the entrance to the industrial city at a cost of 33 million pounds .
Engineer Abu Ammar pointed out that the pace of work to complete the completion of works in the industrial city of Umm Al-Zaitoun is going well in parallel with the follow-up of other craft areas spread over the governorate square.
The area of the current industrial city in Umm al-Zaytun, after expansion, is 756 hectares, according to a comprehensive organizational chart that includes 10 industrial and service sectors.
