The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, inaugurated the monument in honor of the victims and survivors of the massacre of the Langford, Miller and Johnson families, in Bavispe, Sonora. Kenneth Miller, father and grandfather of the 9 victims murdered in 2019, visited the monument and told CNN that “there are many, many cases in this country that are not resolved, there are thousands and thousands of bodies that they have not been able to identify and, well, hopefully the light that this is opening that shines to the whole country for other innocents and other cases that have no voice.
